The dormitory is located in the very centre of Katowice, in a quiet area with excellent transport connections.
50 meters from the building there is a tram stop from which you can get to several universities, the market or the park.
It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the main railway station, Galeria Katowicka and the popular party street Mariacka.
In the area you will find many grocery shops (including Auchan), good restaurants and bistros where you can have a great dinner every day.
In the immediate vicinity there is also a new indoor swimming pool (2 tram stops) and the AWF stadium where you can go jogging (10 minutes walk or 1 tram stop).
A 7-minute walk from the dorm and you'll find yourself in the large and beautiful Kościuszko Park with its historic Parachute Tower, a restaurant and outdoor concerts in the summer.
Our building is an over a hundred-year-old tenement house in the centre of Katowice. A few years ago we made a general renovation of the whole building. The heating is 'municipal' and we have no gas in the building. The building is partially insulated and all windows have been replaced with new wooden ones.
Due to the fact that the dormitory is located in a tenement our rooms and common areas are very spacious and high. The walls and ceilings are thick so sounds are well muffled.
Kościuszki33 dormitory is monitored 24/7, we also have fibre optic internet and wifi in the whole building. In the courtyard you will find bicycle racks, a bike room in the basement and a small gym is in the making.
